Choose an area before choosing every stop

Chorsu and Kukeldash form a useful old-city pairing. Khast Imam and Sheikhantaur are separate religious complexes, so check their locations rather than assuming one continuous visitor site.

The central squares and theatre form another part of the collection. The Museum of Applied Arts and the metro reference pin at Kosmonavtlar lie farther south. Use current transport information for journeys; these are not timed walking-tour instructions.

Check the kind of access you need

A public square, a working school, a religious complex and a performance venue have different entry arrangements. Check official information before travelling for a particular interior, manuscript or performance.

The Yunus Khan mausoleum has restricted institutional access. At Khast Imam, confirm the manuscript’s current display venue. Museums may change individual displays, while performances require separate tickets.

Read before you arrive, or save a guide

The guides work for exploring from home as well as visiting. Save a written guide from its three-dot menu while you are online, then find it in Downloads. Offline packs do not include map tiles or new audio.
