Using the guides
You can browse, read and listen without an account. Tourttle currently has no signup, payment form or newsletter subscription. The map's recenter button returns to the selected city; it does not request your device's GPS location.
Hosting and maps
Cloudflare hosts this website. Delivering a page, image or audio file involves processing network information such as your IP address, browser details, requested URL and request time. This supports delivery and security. Cloudflare describes its processing and safeguards in its privacy policy.
Your browser requests map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap's tile service. Those requests reveal network information and which map tiles are needed for the area you are viewing. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
We use these services to deliver the site and map and to protect them from abuse. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing and securing the service, subject to your rights.
Analytics
Google Analytics is configured for Tourttle but visitor tracking is currently disabled. We do not load the Google tag or send browsing events to Google Analytics. The guides work without analytics cookies.
Contact messages and retention
Email sent to hello@tourttle.com is handled by our DirectAdmin mail server and forwarded to our support inbox. If you email us, we receive your address and the information you send. We use them to answer your request and handle corrections or rights requests. We keep correspondence only while needed for that purpose or a legal requirement. Hosting and map providers retain information under their own service policies; we do not promise a deletion period we cannot control.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and complain to your local data protection authority. If optional analytics is introduced again, we will explain the collection and provide any consent choice required before it starts.
Contact hello@tourttle.com to exercise a right. We may ask for information needed to verify and answer the request. The site is intended for general travel exploration and does not knowingly seek personal information from children.
Changes to this page
We will update this notice when the service or its data use changes. New uses requiring consent will need a new choice.
